These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the terms of any work we do for you.

If you become a client, the engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both sides. Nothing on this website forms part of that agreement, and nothing here overrides it. If the two ever conflict, the signed agreement wins.

Using the site means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, stop using it.

You may read the site, quote from it with attribution, and contact us through it.

You may not:

• extract content at scale by automated means;
• copy the site or substantial parts of it to build something similar;
• misuse the contact form to send bulk or unsolicited messages;
• attempt to access parts of the system not made public;
• interfere with how the site runs for anyone else.

We may block access if any of that happens. We do not have to warn you first, though we usually will.

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available at all times, and we will not be liable to you if it is not. This is a website, not a service you are paying for.

The design, text, code, illustrations and structure of this site belong to WISDOM INTELLIGENCE TECH LIMITED. The name Wisdomintel and the marks used on this site belong to us.

You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial parts, present our writing as your own, or reuse the design.

Client work is different, and deliberately so. Anything we produce for a client belongs to that client: the accounts, the data, the content, the knowledge base, the configuration. This is stated on our about page and it is not a courtesy, it is how the engagement is written. If you leave, you take all of it and it keeps working.

Third party names mentioned on this site belong to their owners. Mentioning a tool does not mean it endorses us or we endorse it.

Nothing on this site is professional advice. That includes anything we write about search, marketing, data protection or how you should run your business. It is written generally, we do not know your situation, and you should not act on it as though we did.

We make no promise about outcomes. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, conversion rates, pipeline or revenue, and we say so on the service pages as well as here. Anyone in this industry who guarantees a ranking is either misunderstanding how search works or misrepresenting it.

Any figure quoted on this site as an industry benchmark is labelled as such and carries its source. It describes what has been observed elsewhere. It is not a projection of what will happen to you, and we do not present it as one.

Where we link out, it is because the source is worth reading, usually because we cited it. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they contain or what they do with your data once you are there.

A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.

When you send us something through the contact form you keep ownership of what you wrote. You give us permission to read it, store it and reply to it, which is the whole point of sending it.

Do not send confidential information through the form. It is a contact form, not a secure channel, and we have not signed anything with you yet. If you need to share something sensitive, tell us that and we will agree a proper channel first.

We will not publish your message, quote you, or use your company name as a reference without asking you in writing and getting a yes.

To the extent permitted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, including lost profit, lost data, lost opportunity or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud. If any part of this section is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

This section is about the website. Liability in a client engagement is dealt with in the signed agreement, where it is negotiated properly and where the numbers are specific.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do.

Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version. For a change that materially affects someone who has already contacted us, we will tell them rather than rely on them noticing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Disputes are subject to the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
